Job Responsibilities

  • Compensation (Range): $45-$47/ hour: Salary
  • As a Powertrain dynamometer calibration engineer you will be responsible for feature calibration efforts in the ELD powertrain dyno facility.
  • You will support the commodity calibration teams to deliver production release calibrations through various features including emissions/OBD development.
  • Work closely with the dynamometer test engineering teams to collect necessary data and follow/develop test processes.
  • Develop dynamometer-based powertrain feature calibrations in support of Program releases.
  • Perform engine/powertrain dyno data collection & analysis to generate feature calibrations.
  • Release feature calibrations in CFX for commodity team use.
  • Proactively manage calibration tasks to deliver programs on time with quality.
  • Effective communication with Program commodity calibration team - Work with ELD test engineers on test cell/PT setup for proper data collection.
  • Lead daily test cell activities with technicians and test engineers to complete Program deliverables.
  • Improve test cell operating efficiency using automation.
  • Create and develop efficient data & calibration processing tools.
  • Actively engage with subject matter experts and the larger calibration community to stay relevant with new and changing features.



Job Requirements

  • AVL PUMA/CAMEO/Concerto experience
  • Basic understanding of powertrain calibration, controls, and test methods
  • Experience with calibration development tools, i.e., ATI/ETAS
  • Good analytical skills for data reduction and analysis
  • Experience with Excel/Matlab for data analysis and basic programming
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Engineering Degree
