Reporting to the Senior Manager of Investor Relations you will be a part of a team of two supporting the Vice President of Investor Relations and Finance at The Cheesecake Factory corporate support enter in Calabasas Hills, CA. As the Investor Relations Analyst, you will play an integral part in executing our Investor Relations program, including both strategic and tactical elements of a global $3.4 billion publicly traded company. Here’s more of what you’ll get to do: Develop a strong understanding of the company, our strategy, and the restaurant industry. Support the quarterly earnings process, including logistics and preparation of the earnings release, conference call script, and Q&A. Work closely with finance teams to analyze financial results and compile important metrics, insights and other relevant information for discussions with management and the investment community. Review and analyze company and peer sell-side research, financial results and call transcripts and market research to stay abreast of industry trends and prepare executive summaries as necessary. Assist with planning and logistics for marketing-related activities, collaborating closely with multiple internal and external parties, and support preparation of all marketing materials. Ensure up-to-date and accurate management of our Investor Relations website and maintain our CRM platform with all meetings and calls conducted. Analyze 13-F filings and assist in updating the quarterly ownership report. Assist with planning and executing our Annual Shareholders’ Meeting. Participate in the drafting, execution, and distribution of the annual report and proxy statement. Liaise with our accounting and financial planning departments to complete accounting tie-out of our disclosure documents. Contribute to the development of strategic communication materials, including the investor presentation and other items to support internal/external events. Support the development of the department’s annual budget and maintain relationships with third party vendors. Provide general administrative and logistical support, including responding to general investor inquiries, calendar management and drafting of weekly IR team meeting agendas. Assist with ad-hoc projects such as peer benchmarking, internal and Board presentations, ESG analyses and research requests.

What we require:

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related field. 1+ years of relevant experience in an Investor Relations, sell-side/buy-side, investment banking, and/or corporate finance role. Strong business and financial acumen with an understanding of and familiarity with corporate finance, financial markets, the regulatory landscape and the investment community. Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data and analyst research to identify key trends and distill key themes for management. Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to synthesize information and distill complex concepts into clear, concise statements and craft compelling financial and strategic communications. Strong editing and proofreading skills and attention to detail. You exhibit strong professionalism and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately. Advanced knowledge of PPT, Word, and Excel with a keen eye to formatting materials to investor-facing caliber. Skilled in presenting information in a clear, concise, and compelling manner in the form of charts, diagrams and pictures in Power Point and Excel.
