Summary of Essential Job Duties: Oversee assigned projects and produce documentation (specifications, storyboards, communication flow) required for consumer product engineering and manufacturing development.Produce iOS and Android App storyboards for development.Communicate with overseas hardware and software developers regarding changes/improvements to hardware, app, and website products. Testing and troubleshooting of prototypes. Perform research and stay on top of emerging technologies and industry trends. Responsible for all communications of project related issues to senior management, project team, factory and the customer. Making determinations for equipment, staff and training needs. Ensure projects are properly staffed and milestones are achieved. Provide guidance and professional development to engineering team. Ensuring the validity of methods used by staff. Coordinating work with other managers and staff. RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Basic knowledge of electrical engineer tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc). Experience with Bluetooth, Cellular, and Wi-Fi consumer products. Ability to offer creative input for designing products. Work effectively either independently or as a team. Communicate both orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner. Ability to prioritize requests, organize, schedule and coordinate a variety of activities and projects. Ability to work extended hours, and on-call as needed. Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Power Point) and ability to learn required business systems. Required Education and Experience: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field.Minimum 3 years of previous electrical engineering management experience. Experience with Adobe Photoshop a plus.Product Design knowledge to understand tradeoff between technical and practical requirements.
