Sentara Health is now seeking a Quality & Accreditation Program Manager

This is a full-time position - Monday-Friday, Daytime

This position has the potential to be Hybrid.

The VBC Quality Program Manager provides Project Management (PM) planning, coordination, documentation and implementation of simple to complex Quality Improvement (QI) projects. Responsible for supporting primary care practices in activities to include population health and quality efforts associated with or required by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS), the Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS), the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and as outline in our VBC contracts to meet quality metrics. Analyzes projects to determine scope, cost, resource needs and scheduling requirements. Creates, maintains and refines detailed project plans, including work breakdown structures, and tracks project schedules. Identifies, develops and implements cross-functional, cross-departmental work processes across various departments or the overall division to improve clinical outcomes. Performs root cause analysis and coordinates activities to enhance the clinical outcomes of the population. Identifies internal deficiencies or obstacles with data, systems and processes, and implements enhancements interventions for the area. Leads process mapping, research and analysis for QI initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience supporting and coordinating operational and/or quality improvement projects also required.
  • Knowledge of HEDIS and STARS required.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology required.
  • Project Management or Yellow Belt Certification preferred.

Project Management Certification, Scrum Master Certification, or Yellow Belt Certification preferred.
