Job Summary

The Program Manager Accreditation Specialist is responsible for ensuring the effective planning and execution of accreditation efforts for Hoag's Oncology specialty programs. This role requires a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and a proven track record in process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement accreditation strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address areas for improvement
  • Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements and enhance operational efficiency
  • Manage and maintain accreditation documentation and reports
  • Provide coaching and training to teams on accreditation and quality improvement best practices
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an Oncology RN with a proven track record in regulatory and process improvement
  • Advanced training or experience in statistical, financial, and strategic analysis
  • Demonstrated performance improvement and process improvement skills and knowledge of methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, and PDCA
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Project and the Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field
  • Experience in consulting or managing healthcare-related projects
License and Certifications
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • OCN certification within 2 years of hire date
