Nesco Resource has an immediate need for a Project Manager / Product Lead Engineer: Control Valves at their client in Danbury Connecticut.
This candidate is responsible for product engineering and product lifecycle management activities.
They will work within a project-oriented, hands-on team environment, interfacing closely with Product Management, Development Engineering, and other stakeholders globally
• Understand and collect global stakeholder needs and convert these into product requirements
• Leading the project throughout all project phases and gates, regularly reporting to the management team
• Responsible for coordinating and communicating with global key stakeholders, such as Product Managers, Product and Verification Engineers, etc.
• Motivate and facilitate the project team to perform regarding product quality, time to market, and cost to deliver a positive outcome
• Responsible to streamline product portfolio and define strategies to optimize it
• Responsible for time management, project governance, risk management, and managing resources REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in an Engineering or Technology discipline (Automation, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Computer Science)
• International work experience in related fields in project management (+5 years)
• Mechanical or electronic design with a strong understanding of engineering fundamentals
• Exceptional communication and coordination skills in a multinational environment
• Must have outstanding project management, organizational, and presentation skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and support multiple projects
• A proactive, reliable, empathic, responsive, and solution-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
• Travel required (5%)
ADDITIONAL SKILLS PREFERRED (NOT REQUIRED) • Project Management Certification (e.g
PMP)
• Experience or high interest in HVAC applications & control valves
• Knowledge of field bus communication (e.g., BACnet/Modbus)
• Knowledge of SAP and PLM Software
