JOB OBJECTIVE

To coordinate New & Used Equipment sales along with providing support to the Salespeople to ensure the department directives are met.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Perform work in an office environment with some exposure to industrial noise, fumes, smoke, etc.
  • Extensively use two hands to input data effectively into computer.
  • Hear and understand normal voice level sounds, or background sounds, with correction.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Planning, Prioritizing & Goal Setting - Able to prepare for emerging customer needs; manage multiple projects; determine project urgency in a meaningful and practical way; use goals to guide actions and create detailed action plans; organize and schedule people and tasks.
  • Demonstrate an elevated level of dependability.
  • Knowledge or various brands of material handling equipment preferred
  • Time Management and ability to adapt to using new software
  • Ability to use Excel, MS Word, and Outlook
  • Effective communication skills to be used with customers, co-workers, and management
  • Ability to generate trust and respect from customers and co-workers
  • Ability to read sufficiently to understand basic written instructions.
  • Ability to deal calmly and rationally in stressful, last-minute, and problematic situations, not losing control or letting emotions direct actions or words.
  • Ability to verbally calm down excited customers or other people and effectively resolve issues.
  • Ability to follow all company rules and requirements
  • Ability to identify different material handling equipment by physically checking inventory in warehouse.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Answer incoming phone calls for business as needed
  • Respond to emails in a timely fashion (within 24 hours or sooner)
  • Create Sales Orders from Report of Sales from Salespeople
  • Create POs for vendors.
  • Manage job schedules and communicate with all parties to keep projected timeline.
  • Coordinate meetings with Customers and potential local dealers to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Approve vendors' invoices and check them against the po's that are created.
  • Communicate with customers on deliveries
  • Follow up with accounting department to confirm Invoicing is completed and correct.
  • Process bills of lading and provide clear instructions to the team for handling each shipment.
  • Identifies cost-saving opportunities and potential process improvements.
  • Observes and promotes safe work practices and procedures.
  • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Perform miscellaneous tasks as requested by management.
