Description:

The Onboarding Specialist provides support and assistance with administrative and transactional activities in support of the new hire onboarding process, including but not limited to:

  • Perform required tasks in accordance with established service level agreements (SLAs) and standard operating procedures, ensuring compliance
  • Provide excellent customer service and candidate experience
  • Assist with communication and correspondence with Talent Acquisition Partner, Employee Health, and key stakeholders
  • Act as resource for new hires by providing Onboarding information, ensuring awareness of onboarding tasks, answering questions, while ensuring new hires move through Recruitment and HR system Onboarding steps efficiently
  • Ensure all hiring / regulatory documentation is received and properly maintained
  • Identify potential gaps in minimum requirements, if applicable
  • Assist new hires with health assessment scheduling
  • Monitor background check and Health Assessment; coordinate follow-ups when needed
  • Manage start date changes
  • Prepare and maintain regular onboarding reports Identify and communicate issues and opportunities for efficiencies

Skills Requirements:

  • Strong organizational skills, high skill level in customer service, effective presentation skills.
  • Detail oriented, establish service level agreements and meets and exceeds customer expectations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, and drive excellence.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills including fact finding, influencing, listening and problem solving.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with staff, hiring leaders, vendors and senior leaders across the organization.
  • Maintains a positive and professional demeanor in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Intermediate skills, Microsoft Office proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook.

?Minimum Experience Requirements:

  • Associates Degree; Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field. Other education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Two years office or administrative experience required.
  • Experience in Human Resources or Recruitment preferred.
