We are seeking a Subcontracts Specialist to support Prime Contracts with subcontractor activity of moderate dollar value and complexity with limited oversight and direction.

Preferred arrangement is 2 days per week in office (Reston, VA or Lexington Park, MD) with remainder being remote. Other arrangements will also be considered based on employee's home location. For all arrangements, occasional travel to the Precise Systems, Inc. headquarters in Lexington Park, MD will be required

Duties:

Acts as primary interface between subcontractors and Precise for all contractual related issues

Interfaces with Program Management, Contracts, Project Finance, Accounting, Business Development and Precise Customers

Attend and serve as a Subcontract representative at program and project meetings.

Creation of moderate complexity RFP solicitations in accordance with Government and Precise requirements.

Evaluation of subcontractor proposals

Conducts price and cost analyses

Participates and sometimes leads negotiation of pricing and terms and conditions with subcontractors

Issues and administers subcontracts of various types including identification and inclusion of flow down requirements from the Prime Contract.

Maintain and update subcontractor file documentation for internal and external audits by applying Precise best practices, policies, and procedures.

Identifies and resolves moderate issues and problems on assigned subcontracts

Performs subcontract close-out activities.

Negotiation of non-disclosure agreements (NDAs)

Supports Precise proposal activity of moderate complexity and value

Required Education :

Bachelors degree from an accredited institution. Additional years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of degree

Required Experience:

At least4 years of relevant government contracting experiencewith contracts or subcontracts

Working knowledge and extensive experience working with the FAR, DFARS, commercial and government acquisition process

Working knowledge of business principles in the areas of procurement, finance, and accounting

Advanced interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

Proficiency with MS Office

Motivated self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment

Attention to detail, problem-solving, and strong time management skills

Ability to handle multiple high visibility critical tasks simultaneously
