Creative Financial Staffing is partnering with a non profit organization in Hartford, looking for a Grant Administrator. Their ideal candidate is someone with exceptional communication skills, organizational skills, and a non profit background (PLUS)
About the Opportunity as a Grant Administrator:
- Flexible office hours. The Grant Administrator can start their day between 8-9
- 40 hour work week (No overtime is expected)
- This role will report to the CFO who is awesome Hands on but not a micromanager
- Training offered
- Compensation: $56-65K
- HYBRID AFTER TRAINING
- After you're fully trained you can work 2 days at home
- Tuesday and Wednesday in the office (Can pick the other day you work from the office)
- Receive a chart or list of grants & review associated documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Verify that all information is current and correctly updated in the system.
- Confirm that each grant is being directed to an approved nonprofit organization.
- Handle various payment cycles, which can vary significantly (No 2 grants are the same)
- Adjust for the unique terms and timelines of each grant
- Contact grant officers to clarify or resolve any discrepancies found in the documents or process.
- Answer any questions from grantees regarding their grants or the process.
