We currently have an exciting career opportunity for an Assurance Manager to join the team in our Chicago office. CohnReznick is a hybrid firm; most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid, which means team members are expected to alternate time between both remote and office. This position will support our Affordable Housing Industry Group. YOUR ROLE. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Review and prepare financial statements, footnotes, workpapers, management letters, agreed-upon procedures, and other attestation engagements. Demonstrate professional creativity in dealing with client matters and make constructive suggestions to improve client operations. Effectively analyze transactions, recognizing potential or existing problems with appropriate research and consulting. Accept responsibility and utilize firm resources to complete assignments. Oversee, mentor, and develop staff. YOUR EXPERIENCE. The successful candidate will have: Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting required. CPA designation is required. 5+ years' experience in a public accounting firm required. Affordable housing or real estate industry experience preferred. Knowledge of audit software ProSystem Fx a plus. Exceptional organizational, communication, and presentation (verbal and written) skills.
