Established and successful restaurant group, the Serenitee Restaurant Group, is searching for an experienced, and passionate Sous Chef to join Dire Wolf Tavern

The ideal candidate is a driven self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who is passionate about everything food & beverage, hospitality, people, talent development, teambuilding and people culture champion. They should have a demonstrated ability to think analytically, have keen financial acumen, excellent people leadership skills, an abundance of creativity, desire to provide high quality food, have a critical eye for detail, and have high expectations and standards.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive starting salary of $65,000 to $72,500

Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of kitchen management experience preferred
  • Expected to work 52-55 hours a week
  • Passion, dedication and drive
  • Excellent food knowledge regarding both ingredients and preparation techniques
  • Technical excellence
  • The ability to inspire teams of people to work together towards a common goal
  • The ability to lead by example, setting the tone for a culture of trust and excellence
  • Excellent communication skills with individuals below, beside and above you in the organization
  • Excellent organizational skills including proven experience with cost controls, particularly with labor and food costs
  • Demonstrated experience in training and staff development
  • Conflict management skills
  • Hands on management skills in a fast-paced work environment
