Director of Admissions, Float (Southern Region) - Corpus Christi, TX

Responsibilities in Corpus Christi, Harlingen, Pharr, Brownsville.

The Director of Admissions, Float for our client's Southern Region, will oversee and support the admissions processes across multiple campuses in Corpus Christi, Harlingen, Pharr, Brownsville. This dynamic role requires a strategic leader who can drive enrollment goals, manage admissions teams, and ensure a seamless admissions process for prospective students. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the higher education admissions landscape, and the ability to adapt quickly to the needs of different campuses.

Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning and Leadership:

Develop and implement comprehensive admissions strategies to attract, recruit, and enroll a diverse student body across multiple campuses. Collaborate with campus directors and senior management to set and achieve enrollment goals. Provide leadership and support to admissions teams at each campus, ensuring consistent application of best practices and policies.

Admissions Process Management:

Oversee the admissions process, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and a positive experience for prospective students at all campuses. Implement and monitor admissions policies and procedures to maintain high standards and compliance with regulatory requirements. Utilize data-driven decision-making to enhance recruitment strategies and improve conversion rates.

Marketing and Outreach:

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute targeted recruitment campaigns for each campus. Represent the institution at virtual and in-person events, webinars, and other outreach activities to promote programs at Waco, Austin, and San Antonio campuses. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including prospective students, parents, educational partners, and alumni.

Student Support:

Provide guidance and support to prospective students throughout the admissions process, from inquiry to enrollment. Address and resolve any issues or concerns that arise during the admissions process. Ensure a smooth transition for new students into their programs at each campus.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Track and analyze admissions metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies across campuses. Prepare and present regular reports on admissions activities, outcomes, and trends to senior management. Use insights from data analysis to continuously refine and improve admissions processes.

Qualifications: Education:

Bachelor's degree in education, business administration, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in higher education admissions, with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful admissions strategies. Experience managing admissions teams and processes across multiple locations is highly preferred.

Skills:

Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using admissions software and CRM systems. Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the recruitment process.

Work Environment: This is a remote position with frequent travel to campuses in Waco, Austin, and San Antonio. Flexible work schedule with occasional evening and weekend events.
