We are seeking a dynamic and skilled HR Business Partner with Recruiting experience to join our team in Houston, Texas. As an HRBP, you will play a pivotal role in supporting various HR functions including providing exceptional recruiting services to attract top talent to our organization. The HRBP will be professional, confident, and approachable to build relationships of trust across the company in delivering an efficient and high-quality service to staff and managers. Working as part of ARCHERs HR team, you will have the opportunity to apply the full breadth of your skills and experience to support a variety of projects to deliver innovative, value-add, best-practice HR initiatives across all our locations. This role will be located in Houston at the Corporate Headquarters and will be direct support to the SVP of HR as well as the staff of the two Houston locations.DEPARTMENT : Human ResourcesPosition Location : HoustonJOB RESPONSIBILITIESRecruitment:Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and hire qualified candidates across various departments and positions.Assist in creating and maintaining job descriptions, employment classifications, and salary range benchmarks.Conduct thorough screening of applications, review resumes, and shortlist candidates based on job requirements and qualifications.Schedule and conduct interviews, both in-person and virtually, to assess candidates' suitability for specific roles.Coordinate pre-employment checks, such as background screenings and reference checks, to ensure candidates meet necessary criteria.Extend job offers and negotiate terms of employment with selected candidates.Onboarding and Orientation:Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.Conduct new hire orientations, providing them with essential information about company policies, procedures, benefits, and resources.Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to coordinate training programs and ensure new employees receive proper training as per their job requirements.Employee Relations and Engagement:Address employee and manager queries and concerns promptly, maintaining a positive and supportive work environment.Assist in the resolution of employee conflicts, investigating and mediating disputes, as necessary.Provide coaching and counseling to management and employees to drive resolution in line with policies, guidelines, and employment law.Collaborate with managers to deliver disciplinary warnings and performance improvement plans where needed.Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and activities to foster a culture of teamwork and employee satisfaction.HR Administration:Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, employment contracts, and other related documents.Prepare and distribute HR-related reports, such as headcount, turnover, and performance metrics.Support delivery of annual and semi-annual performance review process and compensation/merit increase program.Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.Stay abreast of industry trends and employment legislation to ensure HR practices remain current and effective.Contribute to the creation of career pathways and assisting with organization-wide learning curriculums including delivering training programs.Contribute to development of change management and restructuring initiatives, which may include consultation and consensus-building with groups and individuals.Support and deliver project work as required, embedding new initiatives within client groups.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience required.PHR/SPHR Certification or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP Certification PreferredMinimum 3-5 years of proven experience as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner with a focus on recruitment.Solid understanding of full-cycle recruitment processes and techniques.Familiarity with HRIS systems and proficiency in MS Office Suite.Strong communication and people skills.Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems.Demonstrated ability to build consultative, collaborative relationships with managers and co-workers at all levels, including executive level.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative to proactively handle issues.Knowledge of applicable employment laws and regulations.Ability to be in the Corporate Headquarters on a regular basis and travel to our other Houston location as needed.BENEFITS401(K) retirement plans with matching contributions.Dental and vision insurance plans.Parental leave to support work-life balance.Short-term and long-term disability coverage.ABOUT ARCHERARCHER Systems is a leading technology-enabled legal services company that provides pre-settlement and post-settlement administration services for a single event, mass tort, and class action cases with the goal of helping claimants access their settlement proceeds more efficiently and quickly.
