Payable

to be part of our accounting team. Must be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Duties of this position include but are not limited to: Enter vendor invoices into computer providing an accurate data entry and general ledger coding Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment. Audit and process credit card bills Process expense reports for reimbursement Maintain and organize filing system. Solve problems and resolve outstanding issues as they arise. Set up 1099 vendors and maintain W-9 forms Process and mail vendor checks on a weekly basis Maintaining the billing system, generating invoices. Posts customer payments and bank deposits Performing account reconciliations Performs month-end close duties as assigned. Performing other projects as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Must have acomplete and thorough knowledge of all accounting functions and procedures. 5 Years of accounts experience in construction preferred. Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Accounting preferred. Communicates well both orally and in writing. Microsoft Office, Excel, Sage or QuickBooks Accounting software experience is required Well Organized, detailed oriented, time sensitive and a team player Must successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
