smartdept. is searching for a Marketing Specialist for a financial services client located in Riverwoods, IL. The ideal candidate will come with 5+ years of experience. This is a full-time , (40hrs/week) hybrid ( 4 days onsite, 1 day remote) , 4-month contract opportunity with the possibility of an extension . Compensation for this position is expected to be $30-$35/hour depending on experience level and fit. The Marketing Specialist will work closely with the team to assist in updating or creating new marketing materials and value propositions, undertake tactical projects and support programs that drive international merchant acceptance and issuer volume globally. What You’ll Do: Experience with pulling data in Tableau or similar software and working with the data to help create a story Maintain accurate and updated sales support collateral and presentations Create, customize and update PowerPoint presentations for client-facing and internal teams that interact with acquirers, merchants, and issuers. Liaise with agencies on creation or enhancement of marketing materials including presentations, sales materials and other forms as needed Ability to work with brand and legal to obtain approval for marketing collateral/presentations, etc. Support efforts to create and maintain an online travel guide What You’ll Need: Bachelor’s degree with some B2B financial marketing experience preferred Experience in creative development for B2B marketing materials and agency management Ability to research topics and data to integrate the results into the current projects Strong project management and organizational skills, ability to manage multiple, diverse projects simultaneously across a team Comfortable working through new situations Flexibility to undertake various marketing related tasks based on business needs Exposure to or background in international business preferred Experience in creative development for B2B marketing materials and agency management Proficient in PowerPoint e.g. skilled at telling a succinct story visually Proficient in Excel Ability to research topics to integrate the results into the current projects Strong project management and organizational skills, ability to manage multiple, diverse projects simultaneously across a team Comfortable working through new situations Flexibility to undertake various marketing related tasks based on business needs Exposure to or background in international business preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
