**Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) - Simulation Test Engineer**

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to accelerate our vehicle-level testing on the path to full-self driving. The Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Simulation Test Engineer will be responsible for validating and developing all current and future Simulation features. You will support the development and test team with simulation scenario generation and validation, ensuring performance representativeness from simulation while benchmarking real world test suites. The role requires someone highly organized and confident in their ability to manage projects along a very fluid schedule.

This full-time role requires the flexibility of traveling (up to 25%) to various domestic and international destinations as necessary.

Responsibilities

* Perform functional, stress, integration, and performance tests on multiple levels within the system including vehicle software simulation, hardware-in-the-loop automation.

* Identify effective test strategies for new/existing features and craft test plans accordingly.

* Analyze issues detected during your tests or reported by others and work closely with simulation/autopilot developers to fix issues and validate software changes.

* Find software bugs through manual testing, automated scripting, and report investigation.

* Analyze data collected during testing to determine if the vehicle meets federal and internal requirements and make recommendations to the internal design teams based on findings.

* Work with internal engineering teams and external governing agencies to develop and validate vehicle performance.

* Design, fabricate, and modify test equipment and data acquisition systems to meet internal needs.

Requirements

* BS in Computer Science, Physics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or proof of exceptional skills in related fields, with practical software engineering experience.

* 2+ years Software Testing experience.

* Strong Python and/or C++ Skills.

* Demonstrable experience solving difficult QA problems (scalability, reliability, reporting, parallelization, etc).

* Experience troubleshooting on both software and hardware level.

* Excellent communication skills and very detail oriented.

* Ability to multitask, prioritize and work in an extremely fast-paced environment.

* Passionate about Teslas mission.
