Administrative Assistant/Marketing Coordinator

Coastal Sage Montessori is an authentic Montessori learning environment located in Carlsbad, CA. We provide a unique educational experience for children, combining the time-tested, hands-on Montessori education model with a Christian worldview. Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Administrative Assistant/Marketing Coordinator. The Administrative Assistant/Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for day-to-day administrative tasks, including clerical work, phone etiquette, and executive administrative assistance. They will also assist with marketing-related activities and support the coordination of marketing campaigns. Some remote work is acceptable, but the role is primarily located in Carlsbad, CA.

Qualifications
- Administrative Assistance and Executive Administrative Assistance skills
- Strong phone etiquette and written communication skills
- Clerical skills and attention to detail
- Experience in marketing coordination or related field is a plus
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Technically proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Quickbooks, Outlook, Calendly) & Macs
- Participate and engage in school life and adhere to school’s mission.
- Helping in marketing efforts increase enrollment (which will include: developing a social media presence, marketing materials, researching in-person events to attend)
- Submitting monthly updates for our website•Creating Social Media content and managing social media accounts
- Organizing events related to raising funds and/or recognizing donors, such as volunteerevents, annual appeal, gala and auction, banquet dinner, and more.•Drafting and distributing newsletter, donor thank-you letters, gifts, reminders, and receipts.
- Assisting with basic office procedures including handling email and mail correspondence, preparing and sending out bills, scheduling meetings and events, managing vendor relationships (IT, bookkeeper etc.), assisting with school office needs.•
- The Administrative Assistant will be entrusted with creating newer and more efficient systems and processes.

•Highly organized, skilled at time management, ability to prioritize and multitask, professional demeanor.•Proactive and adept at troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.•Ability to meet deadlines and works with a sense of urgency.•Creative, flexible, thrives in a dynamic-start up working environment.•Excellent oral and written communication skills.•Technically proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Quickbooks, Outlook) & Macs.•Mature and discrete with confidential information.•Excellent interpersonal skills, allowing him/her to solve problems and work effectively with colleague and constituents.•Cool under pressure.
