Responsibilities:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist and/or train hiring managers on employee relations issues, employee discipline processes, compliance training and performance reviews
  • Conduct stay and exit interviews with employees
  • Evaluate the results of those interviews on a regular basis in order to report and train on improvements needed
  • Collaborate with HR Manager to develop and deliver training programs on HR compliance, processes and policies for employees and hiring managers
  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, making recommendations for improvements as needed to enhance compliance, process and policy awareness
  • Assist in the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives specific to our trades, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork
  • Process required paperwork for employee changes and terminations, and notify appropriate personnel
  • Track/maintain termination and performance review spreadsheets, checklists and processes
  • Send monthly review reminders to hiring managers (monthly, 90-day and annual reviews, as applicable) and ensure that reviews have been completed
  • File miscellaneous employee documentation in electronic employee personnel files
  • Other administrative duties as needed


Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-years of high level HR experience
  • Experience working with an employee population of 300+
  • Exposure to Labor Law and employment equality regulations
  • Effective HR administration and people management skills
  • Full understanding of HR functions and best practices
  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
  • Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools
  • Fantastic organizational and time management skills
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with all employee informatio

Minimum Qualifications (continued:)

  • People person who is friendly, outgoing and easy to talk to
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time.
  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access office machinery (copier/printer, etc.)
  • Constantly operates office machinery, such as a computer, phone, copy machine, printer.
  • Constantly communicates with management team and coworkers. Must be able to exchange accurate information.
  • Constantly works in an inside office setting.
