Responsibilities
The Senior Underwriter position within Baker Tilly Capital, LLC's Development Community Advisory - Capital Formation team involves delivering financial services to energy and infrastructure clients. You will work on tax credits, mergers & acquisitions, project finance, and corporate advisory in the clean energy sector.
Immerse in the field of Energy, learning about different energy sources.
Customize financial models for deal structuring.
Assist in securing financing and negotiating agreements.
Support in various aspects of transactions involving federal tax.
Provide assistance in developing presentations and thought leadership pieces.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, engineering, or energy-related field required. MBA is a plus.
- Experience with modeling partnership allocations and underwriting bank debt in energy project finance required.
- Understanding of structured finance concepts and energy project financials.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Ability to work extended hours and travel as necessary.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
