  • ASSOCIATE PROJECT ENGINEER:Participates in planning and design of construction, rehabilitation, and/or alteration of structures, facilities and/or other rail infrastructure systems.
  • Recommends standards and criteria for design and construction for engineering projects. Develops designs, proposals, schedules and cost estimates for assigned projects.
  • Estimates human resources, material quantities and other resources needs to produce project and departmental schedules and accurate cost estimates, including project resources.
  • Evaluates progress and results of assigned engineering activities, and recommends changes in procedures of assigned projects.
  • KNOWLEDGE /SKILLS REQUIRED:Baccalaureate Degree in appropriate engineering discipline or equivalent, and one (1) year of applied engineering experience.
