Director of Marketing (U.S. Remote)

This role is remote and requires occasional travel to our headquarters in St. Louis, MO or to other locations in the United States.

As the Director of Marketing, you will report directly to our COO and will play a pivotal role in the growth of the organization. You will be responsible for defining and executing our marketing strategy and tactics to generate demand and pipeline to fuel our growth. This will include go to market (GTM), competitive analysis, branding, positioning, creative content, events, thought leadership, marketing communications, and sales enablement.

Your Performance Objectives – What You Will Accomplish:
During your first month,
you will immerse yourself in Amitech's marketing strategy and sales efforts, research and learn about our positioning vis-à-vis competitors, and look for opportunities to redevelop and refine our marketing strategy. Key areas of focus:
Talk with key internal stakeholders and external contributors to understand the current state of marketing strategy and current key initiatives
Research and analyze our positioning, competition, differentiation, target market(s)/subsets within healthcare, and key offerings
Review and execute Amitech and partner marketing campaigns and demand generation activities to build top-of-funnel activity, manage a pipeline of ideal customer profile (ICP) prospects from prospecting activities, and communicate marketing qualified leads (MQLs) to the sales team
Oversee partner marketing relationships, developing and measuring partner campaigns, and exploring pilot programs with partners
Manage a high-performing marketing team that includes employees, freelancers, and agency partners
After the first month,
you will develop and refine our market strategy including go-to-market with key offerings, speaking engagements and events strategy, and content strategy with the reference point of establishing a lead generation engine. Key areas of focus:
Create a high-quality content engine that produces new services offerings and/or use cases to drive lead generation through campaigns and sales enablement
Review and refine the event calendar and speaking engagement opportunities, including joint customer stories with customers and partners, company and customer win announcements
Establish and track marketing budget and spend by initiative, drive engagement, and report on return on investment (ROI)
Create deep and rich content (e.g., web content, case studies, white papers, eBooks, blogs, sales pitch decks, demos, use cases, etc.), including updating any outdated content
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, data analytics and automation practices, customer success to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives
Manage social media strategy to promote digital and in-person events, sponsorships, webinars, thought leadership, and marketing/sales assets and proactively managing Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other digital channels for regular client and employee engagement
Communicate key marketing metrics with senior leaders on a weekly basis, including brand engagement, inbound and outbound marketing qualified lead (MQL) growth, marketing attributable pipeline by initiative
Support technical and healthcare specific partnerships with coordinated marketing efforts and campaigns
After three months,
you will review the marketing strategy and tactics through the first 90 days and make recommendations for
changes/adjustments.
Key areas of focus:
Establish an external feedback loop with customers around Amitech's positioning and offering
Continue researching competition and addressable market/submarkets within healthcare for repeatable solutions
Continue to improve and optimize our marketing campaigns and tactics to drive increased customer acquisition, retention, and revenue
Iterate on our leading and lagging indicator reporting system to track and report on the effectiveness of our brand awareness, content, marketing campaigns, website, SEO, inbound marketing, social media, events, and other lead generation activities
Review marketing budget, spend, and ROI for the purposes of optimizing future spend and budget on what is working best

Strategic Marketing Experience:
You
are a seasoned marketing professional with vast experience in developing and measuring effective customer acquisition, expansion, and retention campaigns. You are proficient in conducting market research and competitive analysis to assess and refine product and service placement, target market(s), and unique value proposition (UVP) strategies. You have extensive knowledge of digital marketing channels, including social media, pay-per-click (PPC), email, company website, and search engine optimization (SEO). You are experienced in using campaign automation, content management, and CRM tools (Salesforce).
Communication Skills:
You possess excellent oral and written communication skills and are an expert in creating high-quality, relevant, and impactful content that aligns with business objectives and drives lead generation. You are a collaborative communicator with a proven ability to work effectively with small, cross-functional, and diverse teams. You have executive presentation skills and are adept at engaging with internal and external stakeholders with confidence and professionalism.
U.S. Healthcare Payor and/or Provider Experience:
You have worked directly or collaboratively with U.S. healthcare payors and/or providers and understand the landscape, terminology, and trends prevalent within the industry. You are familiar with common barriers, goals, and objectives in the healthcare payor and/or provider space.
Leadership Skills:
You have a proven track record of managing and mentoring a high-performing marketing team. You have experience managing and tracking a marketing budget and analyzing and reporting on return on investment (ROI). You are a thought leader with experience in influencing a variety of audiences, internally and at all levels within the marketing and healthcare technology industry.
