The Accounting Manager or VP, Controller [ Depending on experience ] of Frederick Fox (currently 7-10M in revenues) will initially serve to take over all accounting back-office functions. This is a leadership role in a small, growing company where there is a former CFO and a Staff/Senior Accountant to support this individual.

We are located in Quantum Business Park in downtown Boynton Beach and would consider a Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager stepping up into the role.

We are looking for a sharp Accountant with month-end-end close experience, great communication, and project management skills. We are looking for someone who can conceptualize and see the forest through the trees and someone who wants to implement processes at a rapidly growing professional services firm.

Job Description & Projects

  • Ensure proper financial statement preparation and monthly close of Frederick Fox LLC and subsidiary entities
  • Ensure month end close is completed no later than the 15th of every month for the prior months accounting cycle to ensure Partner distributions are calculated to be allocated by middle of the month
  • Ensure Shared Costs are properly accounted for, charged, and monitored (Flat versus actual and variance)
  • Manages intercompany invoices and Bills to ensure proper reporting
  • Invoices customers and allocate revenue in accordance with evolving business model
  • Seeks to understand, identify, and offer savings opportunities for the business
  • Understands the business risk of Contracts to include indemnification, guarantees, insurance, workers compensation, unemployment etc.
  • Manages Payroll for contractors
  • Understands Pay Rate, Burden, processing fee, and Bill Rate and helps with determining Pricing model within the Frederick Fox eco-systems. CFO and team will train on this if no prior professional services or staffing industry backgrounds
  • Interfaces and manages Factoring Bank Relationship
  • Researches and understand Business Insurance needed to provide Contractor Services and confirms we are in compliance form insurance and legal perspective to administer contractor services
  • Partners with our HR/Payroll Consultant when necessary to complete HR and special projects
  • Creates with Ownership annual budget and tracks variances
  • Manages all banking relationships and keeps close eye on Cash position and cash flow
  • Ensures Representatives and entities are paid extremely timely for revenue services
  • Researches Healthcare insurance to offer contractors as well as 1099s within our business model. Creates Pricing and helps Frederick Fox understand additional costs of insurance, 401k, IRA, and additional benefit items FF may or may not be in a position to offer

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business
  • 3+ years of accounting experience within a multi-entity accounting environment
  • Accounting and Financial understanding
  • Transparent and Honest
  • Seeks to automate and better processes
  • Seeks to perform and go above and beyond to help a growing business versus does the bare minimum attitude
  • Commits to a full-time job and initially works 3-4 days a week in office. Then after trust and projects are completed in good faith, moves to fully remote
