DescriptionCompany: Oak Street Health Title: Senior Clinical Informatics Specialist Role DescriptionThe purpose of a Sr Clinical Informatic Specialist at Oak Street Health is to serve as a coach for medical scribes in order to help provide an exceptional patient experience and maximize provider efficiency.The Senior Clinical Informatics Specialist (Sr. CIS) is a senior medical scribe who serves as a coach for medical scribes in our clinics. Scribes are partnered with a physician, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant to support charting, billing, coding, and EMR navigation in an effort to offer an extraordinary patient experience and maximize provider efficiency. The Sr. CIS is expected to lead, coach, and support a region of scribes, in partnership with the Practice managers (PM), Population Health Directors (PHD), Regional Vice Presidents (RVP), and medical directors (SMD/CMD). The Sr. CIS is expected to have deep knowledge of key aspects of the OSH business model, including (but not limited to): Risk score, Clinical documentation, and scribe performance as well as greenway and canopy utilization.
