Business Development Manager

This position will drive lead generation through developing relationships with referral partners. The ideal candidate will have prior sales experience and/or business development experience specifically working with skilled / semi-skilled trades (plumbers, HVAC, etc.) as well as working knowledge of the disaster restoration industry. Special consideration will be given to those who fit the ideal candidate criteria AND are currently IICRC WRT certified.

Responsibilities

  • Develop structured plan for identifying and calling on potential referral partners
  • Research, by all available means, potential referral partners and develop account-specific acquisition plan
  • Thoroughly document all instances of contact in CRM platform (Goal, Summary, Next Steps) and intelligence gathered with each contact
  • Refine acquisition plan to attain maximum penetration and establish long-term partnerships
  • Identify new channels and repeat

Qualifications

  • 4-5 years experience business development in water mitigation / restoration
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Meticulous organization and accountability
  • Prior experience using CRMs and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
  • Prior experience selling to plumbing companies / prior experience in plumbing industry
  • Can work independently to meet goals / targets
  • IICRC WRT certification a plus, but not required
