Rogue Fitness is looking for a Workday Payroll Specialist that will assist with the payroll processes for semi-monthly and weekly payrolls.

Responsibilities:
  • Assists with the payroll processes for semi-monthly and weekly payrolls.
  • Acts as subject matter expert for Workday payroll processing.
  • Process and balance the payrolls by the established deadlines utilizing Workday software.
  • Ensure tax compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
  • Year End processing, as well as quarterly audits.
  • Investigate and correct payroll discrepancies and errors.
  • Resolves employee inquiries regarding pay and associated processes.
  • Coordinate with Human Resources as necessary as it relates to payroll.
  • Critical thinking, judgment, decision-making, follow-up, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance.
  • Ability to draft routine correspondence and manage information in a professional manner.
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping all information confidential. Ability to maintain confidentiality is critical.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 4 years of payroll processing experience is required.
    High School Diploma required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Experience with Workday payroll system and reporting strongly preferred.
  • ADP SmartCompliance experience preferred.
  • Understand payroll laws and regulations (general knowledge).
  • Familiarity with Time Tracking systems, Benefit Deductions, and Time Off Policies.
  • Tax experience in a multi-state environment and Year End Processing.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and occasionally work additional hours as needed.

  • Strong interpersonal communications skills, verbal and written.
