The

Sr. Underwriting Quality Assurance Analyst

will be responsible for serving as a

technical expert identifying areas of opportunity and providing recommendations that will improve the Underwriting Department and enhance alignment and consistency to established policies and procedures.

The role will review accounts, evaluate Underwriting quality performance, processes, and workflows, assess and report on TQA Power BI findings, and will work with the Underwriting Quality & Training Manager in providing improvement strategies for the Underwriting Department

Sr.

Underwriting Quality Assurance Analyst

will make a difference by: Perform quality reviews to ensure compliance, file adequacy, and workflow efficiency. Complete a set number of Middle Market and Large Account file reviews per ASR and Underwriter each month. Identify and report on quality trends for the Underwriting Department. Identify quality assurance assessment needs for Underwriting Operations, Middle Market, and Large Account review. Identify and assess training needs on both an individual and department level. Partner with Underwriting teams and Trainers to develop effective programs and content to improve the quality of day-to-day practices. Lead in analyzing file review results to identify performance opportunities for the development of and assistance in implementation of development plans. Lead in providing input and reporting to the Underwriting Leadership team to support the execution of department strategies. Lead in the collaboration with Underwriting Department teams to maintain the quality assurance program and initiatives. Lead in the collaboration with departments throughout the organization to align quality assurance programs with organizational goals and objectives. Assist with Underwriting Department training as needed. Collaborate with members of the Quality and Training team to identify areas of opportunity and additional departmental quality assurance and training needs. Skills to get the JOB done RIGHT: Bachelor’s degree preferred and 3-5 years of Underwriting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience. Excellent working knowledge of the technical aspects of each Builders Mutual line of business. Extensive knowledge of the construction industry and corresponding insurance needs. Strong working knowledge of
