Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, organizations, and individuals to generate new event bookings. Respond to all incoming inquiries, ensuring responses are sent within 24 hours. Assist in marketing and promoting events through social media, email campaigns, and other channels. Develop promotional materials and strategies to attract guests and clients. Communicate with clients to understand their event needs, preferences, and budget. Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure their satisfaction. Develop detailed event plans, including timelines, schedules, and checklists. Coordinate all aspects of the event, from initial concept to execution. Oversee the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring they are clean, organized, and visually appealing. Provide exceptional customer service to create memorable experiences. Anticipate potential issues and proactively develop solutions to prevent disruptions. Handle last-minute changes or emergencies with calmness and efficiency. Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback from clients and staff. Identify areas for improvement and implement changes for future events. Treat all team members and clients with respect and dignity. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements: Previous experience in event planning, hospitality, or related field is preferred. A degree in hospitality management, event planning, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, guests, and team members. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple events and tasks simultaneously. Keen attention to detail. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by event schedules. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, and social media marketing and communication platforms. Basic financial skills to manage event budgets and track expenses effectively. A creative mindset to develop unique event concepts and enhance guest experiences. A valid driver’s license may be required for traveling between locations. Physical Demands: Ability to be on your feet for long hours at a time. Ability to lift 50 pounds.
