Our Customer Support team has an opening as our Customer Support Specialist - International role This position will serve a critical role in correctly processing of international Purchase Orders (customer orders, jobs, projects, and SROs) and documentation for proper processing of international orders through to shipment end user.
Primary Responsibilities
- Receive, process, and accept incoming POs in the system. Download POs as needed from customer portals.
- Manage the new customer setup process by collecting the appropriate information.
- Maintain terms established in MSAs and SPAs.
- Verify that orders meet all required criteria (price, lead time, validity, payment terms, customer information, etc.).
- Track jobs for invoicing and milestone payments.
- Provide timely and up to date information to customers and internal team members.
- Handle incoming and outgoing sales-related correspondence and emails.
- Identify and resolve problems efficiently and escalate when needed.
- Maintain necessary order-related documentation, while ensuring compliance with applicable policies and agreements.
- Collaborate with internal departments to address customer needs and inquiries effectively.
- Submit and track warranty and concessions.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and assist in their implementation if approved.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to changes within the organization
- High attention to detail
- Provide excellent customer service
- Experience in sales-related processes with international customers
- Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to exercise initiative, judgment, and decision making related to routine duties
