Summary of the Role
:
The
Business Development Representative (BDR)
is the first step in an exciting sales career that will fuel Edafio’s growth in the marketplace. As BDR you will be responsible for identifying potential clients, building relationships and nurturing interest in Edafio’s services, ultimately driving sales.
Specific responsibilities include:
Identify and research potential clients.
Qualify leads to ensure they meet target customer profile.
Cultivate and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
Generate appointments through proactive prospecting.
Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
Conduct research on potential clients to support sales discovery calls.
Participate in regular lead evaluation discussions with sales and marketing team.
Enter, update, and maintain accurate CRM information on leads, prospects, and opportunities.
Stay current on trends and topics essential to the Managed Services space.
Required skills:

Preferred skills, education or experience:
Experience with prospecting tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesForce, ZoomInfo, and HubSpot.
Required and/or Preferred Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration or related field.
Travel: Not required
Status:
Full-time / Non-Exempt / Standard Workdays & Hours (30+ hrs/week) / Some on-call may be required and OT will apply
Physical demands:
Must be able to sit, stand, and bend for the duration of shift. The position is mainly sitting, with occasional lifting up to 50 lbs, such as laptop, server equipment, and, driving to the work site to meet with client(s).
