* Share Job: * Email * Facebook * Linkedin chevron_left Back To Results Located in the heart of the Coachella Valley, you have access to resort-style living and world-class amenities throughout Southern California. * Job Description: A brief statement of the position, including the general job duties. * The position is responsible for helping develop, implement and lead the strategic and operational goals for all fundraising efforts at Eisenhower Health including all campaigns; specifically this person will be responsible for building relationships with major donors ($250,000 and above). Directs and conducts day-to-day cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship activities for major donor constituents. * Reports to * President, Foundation * Supervises * Associate Vice President, and if necessary, other Vice Presidents * Ages of Patients * Adult * Geriatric * Blood Borne Pathogens * Minimal/ No Potential * Qualifications * Education * BA or BS Degree * Licensure/Certification * None * Experience * Required: 15 years Executive level fundraising experience in medical industry * Preferred: 20 years Executive level fundraising experience in medical industry for a not-for-profit medical center or health system * Specific Skills, Knowledge, Abilities Required * Ability and Experience in developing relationships with and soliciting major donors * Ability to organize resources to achieve defined fundraising goals * Ability to manage a fundraising staff to achieve defined performance goals * Ability to inspire people * Advanced knowledge and skilled in us of Raiser's Edge database software * Skilled in use of MS Office Software (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Powerpoint) * Ability to write letters and articles appealing to donors * Knowledge of and experienced with fundraising marketing techniques * Essential Job Specific Responsibilities * Work collaboratively with other colleagues to implement programs that maximizes interest and participation in campaign, 24/7 and major gifts. * Ensures highest level of coordination exists between Foundation's offerings. * Initiates, develops, and solicits new major donors. * Achieves fundraising goals. * Helps Foundation achieve its potential through highest and best use of Raiser's Edge. * Provide timely and consistent reports on progress of research, cultivation, and relationships. * Provide and follow customer service standards of excellence. * Develop and staff a portfolio of giving prospects. Identify and cultivate potential donors, including a robust schedule of personal visits. * Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies and takes action to resolve questions or concerns and report suspected violations. * Performs other duties as assigned.
