Key Responsibilities:

Identify new referral prospects and develop strategic plans for establishing and nurturing positive business relationships.

The Business Development Specialist interfaces regularly with professionals in the local area, such as fiduciaries, human resource directors, financial planners, insurance, social workers, ancillary care providers, non-profit organizations, senior centers, religious organizations, and related professionals.

Schedule face-to-face meetings and educate on Sun Health at Home (SHAH) to establish referral relationships.

Conduct educational presentations to outside organizations (Rotary, clubs, etc.) related to the product offering.

Based on feedback from the marketplace and individual experience, participate in/respond to creative, results-focused marketing concepts to drive new lead generation.

Collaborate with the Marketing department to assist in developing appropriate marketing materials for SHAH

Conduct market research, including finding information from industry associations, marketing experts, and representatives at other relevant businesses to understand the competitive landscape and market positioning of the SHAH product. Provide reporting to marketing and leadership regarding the market conditions and ways to differentiate SHAH products and sell our services.

Generate reports that analyze the success of business development efforts.

Offer insights about product potential.

Act as a resource to other sales team members.

Research, develop, and execute strategies to identify market opportunities. Assist in taking existing products into new markets, new products into existing markets, and or new products into new markets.

Execute and represent the brand image of the company.

Review and be familiar with all marketing materials including websites, sales collateral, graphics, exhibit properties, advertising, and promotional programs.

Demonstrate the Sun Health Vibrant Living culture and provides all customers/audience with an excellent service experience by consistently demonstrating Sun Health behaviors (the 6 Cs) each, and every day.

Your Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business-related field. Masters preferred.

Three or more years of experience in sales required.

Three or more years of experience in insurance sales, senior living sales, or healthcare environment sales preferred.

Demonstrated ability to achieve or exceed established referral/sales goals, preferably in a consultative sales capacity.

Experience with CRM software and digital marketing tools/techniques.

Minimum 2 years in leadership capacity preferred.

Ability to travel in own vehicle, current Driver's license, and auto insurance is required.
