Site Coordinator, East - Work site will be located in Fairmont City, Illinois.

Manage Way-to-Play Site (Outdoor/Indoor) - approx. 4h per week

  • Guarantee that everyone that arrives at the locations receives a warm and friendly welcomed and their presence is valued
  • Collect attendance register from coaches
  • Answer all registration questions at location
  • Call parents from the waitlist and invite them personally to the training sessions
  • Responsible for making sure the set-up is correct (correct field sizes according to age groups)
  • Set-up flags/banners
  • Set-up cones and drop Pugg goals on the right location (coaches will build Pugg goals)
  • Maintain overall field organization that site looks clean, organized and professional
  • Keeping track of inventory
    • Communicating with City Futures Manager - if they need anything
    • Submit final inventory at the end of each season (get help from one coach after last session)
  • Report any incidents with kids and parents to Adam
    • Questions from parents they can't answer
    • Major issues parents
    • Communication with site contact if there are any issues
  1. Report any coaching incidents to Sascha
    • Informing director if coaches are not applying curriculum (Do not correct the coach immediately)
      • Especially pay attention to breathing exercises in initial circle and reflection questions in final reflection circle
  • Fluent Spanish language skills.

Coordinate YMCA Partnership Program - approx. 3h per week, 8 times per year

  • Visit minimum 4 (max. number is still to be defined) different training sessions each spring and fall YMCA season (2 coaches that did participate in the coaching course and 2 coaches that did not participate), 8 visits in total per year to training sessions
  • Confirm coaches are applying our CITY SC coaching curriculum
    • Not intervening in the session, yet observing and giving some general advice at the end of the session (use YMCA coach observation & feedback sheet)
  • Identify problems/spaces to improve
  • Establish relationship with coaches

Networking with new partner schools - approx. 2-4h per week, 6 times per year

  1. Share physical/printed program flyers with schools in the region before each season

Monthly meeting - approx. 3h per week, 10 times per year

  1. Attend monthly meetings to identify areas to improve and solve upcoming issues

CITY Cup - approx. 12h per week, 1 time per year

  1. Tournament preparation week before the tournament happens in your Region
  2. Set up and break down of all fields
  3. Assist with tournament logistics during the event day
