Position Overview
As the Manager of Corporate Relations, you will lead initiatives that foster meaningful partnerships between OMSDC and large corporations. Your focus will be on securing and maintaining corporate relationships that support supplier diversity initiatives. You will also drive engagement through dynamic events that connect minority-owned businesses with industry leaders.

Tasks

What You'll Bring to the Table:

  • Extensive Corporate Relations Experience: Proven track record of building and nurturing relationships with large corporations, particularly Fortune 500.
  • Corporate Customer Relations Expertise: Must have direct experience working with corporate clients and managing customer relations at the enterprise level.
  • Corporate Organization Experience: Demonstrated experience working within a corporate environment, understanding its dynamics and operations.
  • Local Influence: Strong connections and influence within the Cleveland area, with the ability to leverage local networks for corporate and community engagement.
  • Event Management Expertise: Strong focus on planning and executing mid to large-scale events that deliver exceptional value and engagement.
  • Strategic Insight: Ability to develop and implement strategies to meet corporate partners' needs while promoting minority supplier development.
  • Passion for Community Impact: A commitment to advocating for and enhancing the opportunities for minority-owned businesses.
  • Technology Savvy: Proficiency in using platforms like Salesforce to streamline processes and improve member engagement.
Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Secure and maintain corporate relationships that promote diversity and supplier initiatives.
  • Manage the planning and execution of signature events that facilitate networking and collaboration.
  • Partner with corporate members to assess their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Serve as a spokesperson for OMSDC at community and industry events.
  • Support strategic program development and ensure member engagement through insightful metrics.
