Patient Service Representative

Tasks included, not limited to:
1. Greet all patients and customers in a professional manner;
2. Obtain current patient demographic information and health insurance information;
3. Investigate insurance website for patient benefits eligibility;
4. Collect financial responsibility from patient, ie: copays, deductible amounts, etc at check in. Your comfort with financial collections is a must. Additionally, post your financial collections from the patient, on the account;
5. Register the patient’s information in the medical software system;
6. Prep the medical chart with appropriate documentation needed from the patient, contingent on the type of service being provided to the patient. Ie: medical history form, insurance administrative paperwork, etc

7. Prepare deposit slips with incoming insurance payments, 3 times/days weekly.

7. End of day close includes batch posting summary of financials collected.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
