FT Medical Scheduler Qualifications
- Experience working in a primary care setting and handling a heavy patient volume.
- Ability to answer incoming calls demonstrating proper phone etiquette while assisting patients with requests such as scheduling appointments, prescription refills, communication of results, maintaining chart logs, and other miscellaneous tasks.
- Proficiency in using EMR systems is highly desirable along with an understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology.
- Requires effective written and verbal communication with patients, providers and clinical staff.
