We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Produce / Meat Associate to join our team. As a Produce / Meat Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the freshness and quality of our produce inventory. Your main duties will include receiving, stocking, and maintaining the produce section of our store.

**Duties**:

- Load and unload produce deliveries, ensuring proper handling and storage
- Stock and rotate produce items on shelves and displays
- Use RF scanner to track inventory levels and monitor expiration dates
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the produce section
- Assist customers with their produce selections and provide excellent customer service
- Package and label produce items according to store guidelines
- Follow proper procedures for inventory control, including conducting regular stock counts

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred
- Familiarity with retail math for pricing and weighing produce items accurately
- Knowledge of proper handling and storage techniques for various types of produce
- Ability to operate a pallet jack or willingness to learn

**Skills**:

- Strong attention to detail to ensure quality control of produce items
- Excellent customer service skills to assist customers with their produce selections
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Good physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks such as lifting and stocking
