Community Legal Aid, Inc. (CLA), the non-profit organization providing free civil legal services to low-income and elderly residents of central and western Massachusetts, seeks a Grants Manager who will secure grants to support CLA's work, manage existing grants, and research new sources of funding. CLA administers over 80 grants from federal, state, local, corporate, and foundation funding sources, and regularly submits proposals for new funding. CLA has a staff of over 160 people who work out of five offices across the region.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor's degree.
- Previous experience in successfully developing grant proposals in a non-profit setting as well as supervision, administration, and/or management of grant processes strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce strongly preferred, as is knowledge of web-based prospect search tools.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information to a wide range of audiences and the ability to write clear, structured, articulate, and persuasive proposals.
- Comfort with quantitative and qualitative data, including the ability to use data in support of grant design and administration.
- Ability to work well on a team, handle multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.

**COMPENSATION**: Salary depends on experience, but the expected range is $75,000-$100,000. CLA offers a very generous benefits package that includes 401(k) with employer-paid contribution; low-cost health insurance (medical, dental, and vision) for employees and their dependents; paid leave (4 weeks vacation, 3 personal days, 12 sick days, and 13 holidays); and relocation stipend. CLA has a hybrid work environment and requires staff to work in their assigned office at least three days per week.
