**Description**:
Responsible for carrier compliance, carrier onboarding, and carrier monitoring processes. Develop, establish, and enforce a base level of standards for carrier approval and use. Work directly with the carrier department and prospective carriers to ensure their initial onboarding is handled thoroughly and completely before approving carrier for use operationally. Ensuring all required onboarding and compliance information is accurate and complete at initial onboarding, and that carriers meet or exceed internal standards. After initial onboarding, monitor existing carrier base and update pertinent carrier information on a continuous basis to mitigate risk and discontinue use of carriers who become unqualified or underqualified by internal standards over time.

**What you'll do**:

- Execute carrier vetting process.
- Vet new carrier’s authority and confirm their authenticity when they register with us via GoHighway, Fmcsa, Carrier 411, and other industry reporting tools.
- Set up new carriers in our TMS and ensure that they meet BDS’s internal standards.
- Confirming that carriers are abiding by the terms of the executed carrier agreement signed upon initial onboarding or anytime thereafter, including, but not limited to ensuring carriers are adding BDS as an additional insured to their insurance policies when signing our interchange agreement.
- Assist in Tagged carrier management, removing reps from tagged carriers that have not met the minimum volumes.
- Running Carrier dept reports via excel as needed.
- Assist in Claims management with STG claims department regarding carriers' information as needed.

Daily monitoring of PENDING CARRIER usage by carrier reps to ensure no load stays off the board in PENDING status for too long.

**What you'll have**:

- Attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Decision making in reviewing carrier set ups and reviewing all information provided to ensure we are only using qualified carriers.
- Time management.
- Understanding of insurance process, and liabilities.
- Comfortable multitasking and making key decisions.
- Will strive for continuous improvement.
- Compliance experience in the industry is preferred.
- Logistics and transportation industry experience preferred.
