**JOB DESCRIPTION**

Job Title: Admissions Representative

Reports to: Administrative Director

Description of the Job:
Each Admissions Representative is responsible for managing all the assigned inquires regarding the educational opportunities offered by HIU, screening applicants in order to identify qualify prospects, assisting in the enrolment process those who wish to study any of the academic programs available, and the preparation of all the admissions records of the new students. To this effect, the Admissions Representative must follow the policies, procedures and strategic plans of the Admissions Department to ensure the successful achievement of its mission.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The person appointed as Admissions Representative of HIU must accept and comply with the following duties and responsibilities:

- Understand the mission of HIU, and commit efforts to successfully achieve the short and long term goals of each function within the Admissions Department.
- Understand the objectives of the Admissions Department, and commit efforts to ensure a high level of success in achieve these objectives.
- Understand and follow the policies and procedures of the Admissions Department to define course of actions and decisions accordingly to ensure that the integrity of the mission of each function within the Admissions Department is fully achieve.
- Understand and follow the policies and procedures of the Admission Department to ensure the integrity of the internal flow of information.
- Become acquainted with the objectives, requirements and curricular content of all the academic programs offered by the institution in order to provide accurate information to inquire from prospective students and other interested parties.
- Become acquainted with the policies and procedures set forth by the Institution, particularly those that related directly or indirectly to the students activities in order to provide accurate information to inquires from prospective students and other interested parties.
- Become acquainted with the tuition and fees policies, the refund policy, and the payment plans available.
- Respond to all assigned inquires regarding the educational opportunities offered by the Institution.
- Set up appointments for the prospective students to visit the Institution.
- Interview the prospective students in order to discuss the academic programs of interest, courses, job opportunities in the related career field, and any other inquires.
- Follow the Admission Policies and Procedures during the enrollment process.
- Ask the accepted applicant to complete and sign the “STUDENT ENRROLMENT AGREEMENT” (signed by parent or legal guardian if applicant is under 18 years of age), and explain that such document constitute a legal and binding contract upon acceptance by the School.
- Ask the accepted applicant to complete and sign all the other documents required by the Institution,
- Fill out the “ADMISSIONS ENRROLMENT CHECK-LIST” to ensure that the admissions requirement have been collected as required.
- Collect any missing document from the students.
- Perform all the necessary follow up on enrolled students as required.
- Perform all other duties as instructed by the Director of Admissions or the Director of the School.

Pay: $31,200.00 - $35,360.00 per year
