Miami Regional University (MRU) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Admissions Coordinator to join our team. The Admissions Coordinator will support the AVP of Admissions and its representatives by coordinating application processing, providing customer services, offering admissions administrative support, and disseminating information about the university. This role requires handling confidential records efficiently and ensuring all documentation follows regulations and policies. The coordinator will independently manage multiple tasks and projects with competing priorities and deadlines, maintaining professionalism, integrity, and accuracy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Align duties with Miami Regional University’s (MRU) mission and vision.
  • Ensure compliance with CIE, ACCSC, USDOE, federal, and local regulations.
  • Represent the university and provide information to prospective students and interested parties.
  • Assist the AVP of Admissions in coordinating recruiting and admissions activities, including continuing education and off-campus sites.
  • Communicate effectively with prospective students and maintain admissions files appropriately.
  • Provide data for reporting, institutional research, and effectiveness.
  • Maintain the integrity of the student database (CampusVue).
  • Ensure quality customer service.
  • Assist students with online orientation and documentation via DocuSign.
  • Answer enrollment questions and refer students to appropriate departments.
  • Audit admission files for accuracy.
  • Contact prospective students for documentation.
  • Participate in accreditation preparation, advisory meetings, and student events.
  • Maintain a professional and respectful work environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of administrative experience.
  • Admissions department or post-secondary experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently and effectively.
  • Professional conduct and discretion at all times.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Clerical knowledge of administrative procedures and systems.
  • Proficiency in the English language, including grammar and composition.
  • Understanding of customer service principles and processes.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, CampusVue, power apps, iPads, phones, copy machines, fax, DocuSign, and general office supplies.
