**Pay**: $20/hr. hour, minimum 4 hours (typically 6-8 hours)

**Notice**: As much as 4 weeks prior to workday, but can be as little as day before workday

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- No previous experience required; all training and work will be done on site.
- Assist the team in sorting, categorizing, and weighing recycling (paper, cardboard, aluminum cans, etc.) and office waste (including same day organic food remnants, liquids, etc.) during a waste audit
- Work can be done seated or standing
- Collaborate with a team
- All necessary instruction, equipment, and Personal Protective Equipment (single-use apron, sleeves to cover arms, gloves)
- An interesting way to spend the day and learn about waste and recycling
- Waste audits are performed at various times throughout the year; we are hiring for specific dates and maintaining a list of interested individuals who can be called upon as needed
- Must be available to work in the evenings between 6pm and midnight.

Working Conditions:

- Work is typically conducted Monday through Friday, occasionally Saturday
- Typical day is between 4 and 8 hours
- Report times can vary. Day work will be between 8am-5pm, Night work will be between 6pm and midnight.
- Dress code: closed toe and non-slip shoes (sneakers, work boots), appropriate jeans, t-shirt, and applicable Personal Protective Equipment (as supplied by CWS)

**Requirements**:

- Reliable transportation (transportation not provided)
- Ability to lift/move up to 50lbs
- Ability to work outside in various conditions (heat, cold)
- Ability to adhere to safety guidelines
- Ability to receive and follow instructions and communicate with coworkers

**Additional Skills, Experience Not Required (A Plus)**:

- Spanish speaking and translation skills

**Job Types**: Contract, Temporary

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 16 per week

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
