**Job Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- ** People Operations Management**:

- Develop and implement People/HR policies and procedures in alignment with organizational goals.
- Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process for staff.
- Manage employee relations, performance evaluations, and professional development.
- Drive culture across the organization.
- Mapping and improving key moments in the employee journey and life cycle to enhance their overall experience.
- Assist Finance Department with bi-weekly payroll.
- ** Volunteer Recruitment and Management**:

- Develop and execute strategies for recruiting, screening, placing, onboarding and training volunteers (like staff) to support all organizational initiatives.
- Maximize engagement and development of volunteers to fulfill organization’s needs.
- Coordinate and execute volunteer orientations, training, and ongoing engagement activities (including stay and exit interviews).
- Regularly recognize and appreciate volunteers for their contributions to the organization.
- ** Operations and Process Improvement**:

- Streamline internal processes to enhance organizational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Assist Finance Department with payroll and accounting activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in achieving human resources, accounting, and nonprofit goals and initiatives with integrity and grit.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Thoughtful relator.
- Demonstrated experience in volunteer recruitment and management.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Humble achiever.
- Nimble, constant improver and learner.
- Adaptable user of technology/systems.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SHRM) preferred.
- Proficiency in Human Resource software (e.g., Rippling, Workday, etc.) and specifically Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Familiarity with volunteer management platforms.
- Strategic planning and project management skills.
