Job Description

**Job Title:** Manufacturing Operations Manager

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our manufacturing plant in Santa Ana, CA. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing production processes, supervising staff, and driving business productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • **Supervise and Manage Staff:** Supervise staff from different departments and provide constructive feedback to ensure a high-performing team.
  • **Procurement and Resource Management:** Manage procurement processes and coordinate material and resources allocation to ensure efficient production.
  • **Customer Support:** Oversee customer support processes and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • **Financial Management:** Review financial information and adjust operational budgets to promote profitability.
  • **Policy Development:** Revise and/or formulate policies and promote their implementation to drive business growth.
  • **External Partnerships:** Manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors to ensure smooth operations.
  • **Performance Evaluation:** Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.
  • **Production Oversight:** Oversee diverse production activities including prototype orders, first production runs and repeat orders.
  • **Safety and Quality:** Partner with Safety Manager to maintain Safety Program and with Quality Manager to maintain ISO 9001 and AS9100 registration status.
  • **Training and Development:** Oversee training and implementation of policies and procedures into the company's operations.
Requirements and Skills:
  • **Experience:** Proven experience as Plant Manager or equivalent position minimum of 5 years.
  • **Leadership:** Self-directed, organized and able to work in a fast-paced, pressured working environment.
  • **Communication:** Excellent organizational and leadership abilities, outstanding communication and people skills; bilingual Spanish is requested.
  • **Industry Knowledge:** Knowledge of industry's legal rules and guidelines.
  • **Data Analysis:** Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
  • **Software:** Familiarity with MS Office and various business software (e.g. ERP, CRM, Six Sigma training).
Education:

BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field. MSc/MA will be a plus.
