A Cheese Ambassador at Rebel Cheese will..
- Foster a friendly, attentive, kind environment for all customers and team members
- Proactively communicate with customers in an outgoing and supportive way
- Become an expert at selling vegan cheese and gourmet grocery items.
- Provide exceptional customer service in the selection, handling and sale of vegan cheese, vegan meats, and gourmet groceries.
- Maintain an awareness of all product information.
- Uphold the highest level of standards in cutting, product preparation, and storing of food and cheeses.
- Communicate with coworkers and management to solve problems and improve quality and service.
- Weigh, label and package products in a timely manner.
- Stock deli counter, merchandise shelving, and drinks neatly and accurately as per the pricing menu, and promptly inform management when supplies are low.
- Maintain customer satisfaction by listening to problems and complaints with a positive attitude.
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of work areas, utensils and equipment.
- Follow Rebel Cheese policies, procedures and service standards.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.
