**Duties**:
As a WEAPONS SYSTEMS POLICY ANALYST at the GS-0301-15 some of your typical work assignments may include:

- Subject Matter Expert responsible for the oversight intelligence disclosure policies. Provides technical expertise and guidance in support of Security Cooperation programs for weapons systems which rely on the use of intelligence data.
- Reviews DSCA activities, programs, and processes associated with the release of intelligence information. Recommends changes, modifications, or development of new practices to improve procedural and technical implementation of Security Cooperation programs.
- Provides expert guidance to senior DoD leadership on U.S. intelligence organizations and their policies and procedures governing the disclosure, release, or sharing of classified intelligence information
- Develops and implements standardized processes for Foreign Military Sales case development which compliment or integrate with U.S. intelligence agency foreign disclosure polices and processes.
- Develops and coordinates draft reports, responses, talking points, briefings and other communications as required to support agency engagements.
- Analyzes, evaluates, and disseminates information on conditions and trends that will have major impact on Foreign Military Sales due to intelligence data release requirements.
- Reviews and provides substantive input on any policy, procedure, or regulation governing the transfer of classified intelligence information through DSCA-managed Security Cooperation programs.

- The employee may be required to work other than normal hours, which may include evening, weekends, and/or holidays and/or overtime.

**Qualifications**:
**You may qualify at the GS-15, if you fulfill the following qualifications**:
A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the **GS-14** grade level in the Federal service:

- Developing, coordinating and representing policies for the disclosure or transfer of weapon systems and intelligence data;
- Formulating recommendations and implementing policy for the transfer, disclosure, or sharing of classified national and/or military intelligence;
- Resolving complex policy issues related to the sharing of highly sensitive classified information with foreign governments and;
- Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience._

**Education**:
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.

**Additional information**:

- **Incumbent must attain DoD Security Cooperation Workforce (SCW) Certification and complete related continuous learning requirements in accordance with the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2017, Title 10 United States Code, Section 384 and Security Cooperation Certification Program 2.0 requirements.
