**Construction Accountant**
JS Design + Build, Inc is a growing design and construction firm in Napa. We are looking for a full charge construction bookkeeper.
You will report regularly to the General Manager and President on the overall profitability of our projects and the company’s overall financial health.
**Responsibilities**
- Day-to-day accounting functions, including payroll processing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, chart of accounts, and general ledger.
- Create and maintain an operating budget
- Perform detailed and accurate tracking of all costs related to our construction projects.
- Reconcile all accounts monthly, maintain an accurate balance sheet, and prepare monthly financial statements.
- Work closely with the CPA to prepare year end financials, adjustments, and JIs
- Submit all required information and reports for tax filing in a timely manner.
- Payroll (utilizing Buildertrend timekeeping and QBO Payroll)
- Audit prep
- Business license filings
- Update cash flow spreadsheet weekly

**Qualifications**
**Work Experience**
Minimum 5 years experience in construction bookkeeping
**Education**
BA degree in Accounting or Business Administration
**Skills**
- QuickBooks Online
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Outlook
- Buildertrend knowledge helpful
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
This is a full time, in-office position.
Pay is commensurate with experience, starting at $30/hr.

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
