**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Assistant General Manager to join our Club Pilates Bear studio team. As the Assistant General Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the General Manager (GM) in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the studio. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the GM in managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a pleasant and efficient studio environment.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Responsible, along with the General Manager and Sales Associates, for ensuring that studio membership and revenue goals are met through personal sales and training staff
- Responsible for helping to build the studio community through organizing and executing both grassroot and in-studio events
- Assist the General Manager in supervising and managing staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Be the direct point of contact for all sales associates when the General Manager is on vacation
- Oversee all billing issues (membership agreements, cancellations, freezes, failed payments, etc) for the Bear studio
- Assist with retail displays, sales, and inventory
- Responsible for capturing, creating and posting social media content
- Supervise the maintenance of cleanliness and organization in the studio
- Work collaboratively on monthly studio plans, grassroots marketing, and promotional activities
- Any other tasks required to meet company goals

**Skill Set**:

- Sales, must be able to sell memberships both over the phone and in person to meet monthly sales goals
- Self-starter who also has a flexible schedule and strong work ethic
- Highly energetic, positive and enthusiastic with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and function in a fast-paced environment, often with changing priorities given needs of staff, business and management
- Dependable and accountable with strong sense of urgency
- The ability to resolve employee customer conflicts in a positive, professional and timely manner
- Must be customer focused and deliver the company’s high level of customer service at all times in a professional, courteous, sensitive and friendly manner
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable with computers and effective at learning and using the necessary software products

**Requirements**:

- 1-2 years of fitness sales or relevant sales experience preferred
- Previous management or supervisory experience preferred but not required
- Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information
- Ability to manage and drive multiple revenue streams including memberships and retail
- Must have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person and over the phone

**Compensation and Benefits**:
This position offers a competitive hourly wage and commission paid on sales.
