Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Summary
This position is responsible for managing the overall service experience of customers by overseeing the activity of the team and by assisting in the processing of order, managing inventory, coordinating production schedule, and arranging freight.

Essential Functions
*Manage a team by supervising all processes and assisting as needed.
*Manage team"s time off schedule, workload and scheduling.
*In partnership with HR, complete performance management cycle for all direct reports.
*Develop, coach, and monitor each team member"s performance, capabilities, and output.
*Receive, process, confirm customer orders.
*Proactively interact with customers to determine needs, obtain forecasts, and determine order contents.
*Manage customer supply chain (raw material and finished goods).
*Manage and oversee open order process, including coordination with Production Management for all orders.
*Arrange freight for orders ad confirm shipment and receipt status as needed.
*Manage and oversee shipping and receiving including following DOT/IATA procedures and completion of documentation.
*Provide proper documentation for invoicing.
*Develop and maintain customer specific tracking tools and dashboards.
*Promptly respond to all communications
*Create, implement processes for efficiency improvements.

Required Qualifications
*College degree plus 5 years of customer service management experience or equivalent work experience.
*Effective leadership approach.
*High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
*Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
*Experience with ERP style software or other accounting or inventory management programming (SAP, Datacor, Quickbooks).
*Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate through system platforms and processes on an expert level.

Preferred Qualifications
*Experience in the chemical, pharma, or engineered materials processing industries.
*Experience with import/export and rail shipments.
