Document Control Specialist

This position is considered entry level to start and with a lot of opportunity for growth The pay is up to $18/hr. The hours are 7-3:30 or 8-4:30pm Monday through Friday.
**Job Summary**
This position will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating customer and company documentation in accordance with established policies and procedures, as well as supporting Customer Service, Purchasing, Stockroom, Kit Verification, Production, Engineering, Quality, and other departments as needed.
**Responsibilities**:
- Maintains and updates all Documentation in accordance with the Metal Works procedures.
- Maintains and coordinates documentation as required by the manufacturing facility ensuring that product documentation is available at the point of use as well as current.
- Maintains, controls, verifies, and ensures engineering change orders (ECOs) are processed using Quality Management Systems (QMS) in a timely manner and are accurate.
- Maintains an accurate Master Record filling system.
- Will assemble and issue manufacturing documentation (Travelers) to the production floor.
- Will collect or be provided manufacturing documentation for final disposition into the system creating the DHR. (Document History Record)
- Assist in the review of documents for completeness and accuracy prior to final disposition.
- Communicates documentation and assembly issues to management and or engineering. resolutions of all issues to materials and/or manufacturing departments as needed.
- Will maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
- Responsible for the quality and accuracy of your own work.
